{VINTAGE BASEBALL PARTY}

My now 8-year old son loves baseball.  His favorite team is the Boston Red Sox and we are from New Jersey where most everyone is a Yankee fan.  Andrew's favorite player is Ted Williams so we decided to have a Vintage Baseball Party.

We wanted the invitations to have a vintage feel and thought these were perfect...complete with old fashioned pricing at the bottom.  Once we had the invitation set, we got to work on all the coordinating party items to give the party a real vintage feel.

My older son and I hand painted a sheet to look like an old brick wall which we used as the backdrop.  We printed a 2' x 3' scoreboard (Red Sox vs. Yankees) with my son's birthday as the ending score (8-0).

We offered a Drink Stand with 10 cent drinks available.  Water was provided in personalized water bottle labels,  juice in Mason Jars with grey and white striped paper straws and personalized tags with the kids names, adult beverages in brown plastic cups with personalized baseball stickers.

 Everyone at the party was asked to sign Andrew's 'Game Ball'.

GARBAGE TRUCK BIRTHDAY PARTY

{GARBAGE TRUCK PARTY}

My 2-year old son is obsessed with trucks....garbage trucks in particular.  So we decided to have a Garbage Truck themed party for him.  He chose orange because it was (at the time) his favorite color and we ran with it.  From the Invitations, to the banner, cupcake toppers, thank you tags and 2' x 3' sign to the actual garbage truck that came to visit the kids.

The kids got to throw "garbage" (aka crumpled up newspaper) into the back of the truck.

{GOODIE BAGS}
Were made from little garbage cans.  Inside was a bag full of treats and a tag which said
"P-U it's true, Carter James is no longer 2"

...and 2' x 3' sign and table backdrop.

The party was a lot of fun.  All the kids received garage truck t-shirts at the end of the party.
